5.2.2 Bank Transfer Payment Method
By choosing this payment method, the Buyer shall transfer the amount of the total purchase price for the Goods purchased to the Hong Leong Bank account information as stipulated on the relevant page (including any applicable taxes, fees and shipping costs). The transaction must be payable in Ringgit Malaysia. MyCPMall, in its sole discretion, may refuse this payment option service to anyone or any user without notice for any reason at any time.
Buyer shall transfer the full purchase price of the Goods ordered within two(2) days from the date of placing the order, failing which, the order will be terminated automatically. The Buyer shall upon making the payment, forward a clear copy of the proof of payment (screenshot of the InterBankGiro transaction statement or the transfer receipt(“Payment Proof”) indicating clearly the bank account information, the date, time and the full amount of the order made.
Pursuant to receipt of the Payment Proof , MyCPMall shall verify and confirm the status of the payment and order within three (3) working days from the date of receipt of the Payment Proof.
The Buyer shall, notwithstanding any other terms in this Contract, ensure at all times that all account information, details, amount and/or transactions are accurate. Any mistakes,
errors, and/or charges giving rise to any costs in regards to any claims, refunds, cancellation and/or termination shall be solely borne by the Buyer.
5.3 Buyer may not claim against Seller or any of its agents (which may include MyCPMall), for any failure, disruption or error in connection with the Buyer’s chosen payment method. MyCPMall reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any payment method without notice to the Buyer or giving any reason.
5.4 If the Buyer fails to make any payment pursuant to the terms and conditions of the payment method elected or payment is cancelled for any reason whatsoever, then without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to Seller, Seller shall be entitled to:
(i) cancel the Contract or suspend deliveries of the Goods until payment is made in full; and/or (ii) impose any form of payments deemed reasonable in the given situation.
5.5 All refunds shall be made via the MyCPMall virtual payment account ("MyCPMall Payment Account"). MyCPMall offers no guarantee of any nature for the timeliness of the refunds reaching the MyCPMall Payment Account. The processing of payment may take time and it is subject to the payment provider internal processing timeline. All costs associated with the refund process imposed by the processing bank and/or payment provider shall be borne by MyCPMall. All refunds are conditional upon MyCPMall’s acceptance of a valid return of the Goods. MyCPMall reserves the right to modify the mechanism of processing refunds at any time without notice.
5.6 All payments for the purchased Goods must be made to MyCPMall using the payment methods made available on the Platform only. MyCPMall shall not be held responsible for any losses which may arise from payments made directly to Third Party Vendors or through payment methods apart from the available payment methods on the Platform.
